Situated on the coastline of Panglao Island, 6.6 km from Alona Beach and 10.4 km from Hinagdanan Cave, The Bellevue Resort boasts an outdoor infinity pool, a private beach area, and a complimentary WiFi throughout the property. I stayed in this hotel for 5 days with my wife, daughter, and sister-in-law. We are all amazed, it was beyond our expectations *beautiful beach * friendly approachable staff *the hotel prepared a lot of food for our tour *delicious breakfast * attentive staff and helpful *peaceful and facilities are well handled *clean pool * family-friendly *eco-friendly environment *many activities to do every day *very clean surroundings *clean and tidy rooms *very strong and fast wifi, can be connected in every areas splendid, highly commendable I will be back with my family here again. The view of the beach from our room is breathtaking. Our room has a jacuzzi as we got upgraded, and it was the highlight of our Bohol trip. Truly a dream place and the price is worth it. Right next to the beautiful alona beach. And lastly, the hotel staff are really nice and definitely five star service from them.

The Mayana Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Dauis. This 3-star hotel offers room service, a concierge service and free WiFi. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy pool views. We had to stay an extra night on Bohol due to a flight cancellation. The Mayana Resort was an excellent choice for that night, being located close to the airport, the Tagbilaran port and some really beautiful beaches of Panglao Island. The food is excellent and special, featuring some Swiss-influenced dishes as well as a range of dishes with ostrich (something you will rarely find in most ASEAN countries). Also worth mentioning is the great value for money.

We had a really great time at Bella Napoli Resort. The staff is adorable, super kind and helpful. The pool is nice, the little garden is beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious. It's a perfect place if you look for something cosy, warm and quiet, whether you're in couple or with kids. The resort is a bit away from the beaches and urban facilities but it provides a free airport shuttle service, and then you have plenty of transportation options to explore Panglao and Bohol. There's also good basic restauration on site.

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 11 km of Hinagdanan Cave, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10!
