A beautiful colonial bungalow, full of bric-à-brac and antiques, done up in Balinese style, at a wonderful secluded location in the middle of the rainforest. Comfortable rooms, a beautiful infinity pool and a lovely restaurant with an excellent chef, and all of this run by Lasith and a bevy of handsome young men. They might look like they were picked at a local modelling agency, but they all do an excellent job catering to your every need. And everything with a smile. 😃 I liked it so much I stayed another day.

THE place to stay especially for birdwatchers with birds easily seen from a three way viewing area above the restaurant as well as outside the rooms and gardens. The manager makes the place, always smiling and attentive to every detail making sure everyone’s stay is the best. You can walk to the world heritage site park and the birding jeep tours pick you up at the gate with your packed breakfast. Meals were excellent and the quality well known to others with people seeking out their restaurant for the great the great food. I highly recommend it. I stayed 6 nights and would recommend 3 or 4 to enjoy the area.

Pikiri is a kind and warm person who made our stay so lovely, he made sure the food was prepared according to our dietary requirements and also helped us find a quick and cheap way to Colombo after our flight was rescheduled.

The staff are very friendly and always helpful to our needs. And I was satisfied with the breakfast and dinners in the hotel which comforted me whenever I needed. Highly recommend!
