Perfect communication with their office throughout our stay. The office is situated in the building in front of the apartment, which is very convenient for luggage storrage after check-out. Many places where you can have delicious breakfast close to the apartment. Overall a great vacation in Edinburgh, would definitely choose this place again!

The breakfast? Absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of variety—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. It was the kind of meal you look forward to every morning. Everything we needed was included, and the staff made the whole experience feel effortless. The location was also spot-on—central, convenient, and surrounded by the character and charm of Edinburgh. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it was an experience we’ll remember. The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Clean, cozy, modern, very comfy bed, and a lot bigger than expected. It's also close to the city center so everything is walkable. The kitchen is well enough equipped to prepare a few easy meals.

First opened in 1902, The Balmoral now offers rooms with a spacious marble bathroom and an interactive TV. Many rooms have views towards Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town. Most of my life decisions were made in this hotel. From choosing what Uni I went to and my husband proposing to me here so it holds a lot of good memories . I even decided to apply for a job whilst taking High tea here! I love the facilities, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The service is impeccable ! Worth every penny ! We will be back for many years to come.

Shops and restaurants on Princess Street, Calton Hill, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and EICC are all within walking distance. I have loved absolutely everything about this hotel: Amazing staff, gorgeous room with comfy beds and bathroom with proper heating, absolutely perfect breakfast, beautiful decor - I could not find a single flaw and could not have asked for a better hotel.

The guest house features family rooms. Loved the staff, the quiet and very clean room.We will be back.
