I had a wonderful stay at Fano Kroogard. This is lovely waterside boutique hotel on the island of Fano. It is perfectly situated on the North side of the island. It is 5 minutes by walk from the ferry and 20 minutes by bike to the beach, with bikes available to rent on site. The whole property has a calm and cozy ambience. There is a reading nook on the main floor, and a terrace overlooking the waterfront. The decor is so well done with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. If you manage to get a suite overlooking the water, you’ll be able to take in the wildlife of the Wadden sea, and see seals out your window. There is a restaurant on the main floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a hotel guest, the breakfast in the morning is a choice between several local inspired dishes. I had several different meals at the restaurant and every time the food was delicious. For lunch they offer traditional open sandwiches and for dinner several vergetable and seafood entrees. The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot on the island among locals, as it was always full. Above all, the staff is so lovely and they made my stay extra special. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a seaside view and provided excelled recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Billund is just 7 km away, while Givskud Zoo is 20 km away and there are 2 golf courses within 12 km. Billund Airport is 4 km from the property. The property offers free parking for up to one week for guests flying from or to Billund Airport. We loved the farm and the family friendly playground on property. Even after a day of exploring Legoland, the kids headed out for a couple more hours of playing on the zip line and playground. The apartments are equipped to support meals, the tv can support chrome cast, and the outdoor patio space is very nice. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We are an international hotel of high standards. We are elegant and understated – just like Vejle. Like city, like hotel, you might say. We stayed here for 1 night on our way home from Norway. It was a nice hotel with some special features like a 'breathing room' where they have a few comfy seats in a 'jungle', making you forget you're in a city hotel. The rooms have everything one might need. The highlight was the staff, especially Soren, who was a joy to be around, while also having complete visibility/control of everything that was going on. He even got us a safe spot to shelter our eBikes.

Fabulous shopping centre 5 minutes walk and access to old town. Beautifully restored house with fabulous kitchen and living area upstairs. You could buy food and drink and leave the money in an honesty box. I would live in this house.

Location is nice, close to the beach. Breakfast and service outstanding. We were here as a family and had the best time.
