EcoFunco is absolutely amazing! Lea and Joao are wonderful hosts, present from even before setting foot on the island. They helped us with transportation from and to the airport, they found us a guide to hike the volcano (Joao also is a guide) and gave us tips on things to do and trails to walk while on the island. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and varied. And they arrange it for you no matter what time you want it. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The whole place is peaceful and quiet and the views are simply breathtaking. If we ever go back to Fogo, we will definitely stay with Lea and Joao again!!

La Fora Ecolodge cuenta con una alberca al aire libre, jardín, una terraza y restaurante en São Filipe. Este hotel de 3 estrellas ofrece un bar. After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Thank u every body.

Contando con vista a la ciudad, Ciza e Rose en Portela cuenta con hospedaje, un jardín, un salón compartido, una terraza y un restaurante. Algunas unidades tienen un balcón y/o patio. Of course, the Guesthouse is not comparable to a 3Stars hotel but when you come to this kind of place, Ciza e Rose is exactly the kind of Guesthouse you expect! Rose was born here, he is the right man at the right place and his family is very nice. Rose can speak many languages, including french. The rooms are simple but have all you need. They are big, quiet and all around a patio. Board games are available and we could play Awale and learn a new way to play with Michael, the son. The breakfast was really good and a bit different each day, with cakes... We got a lot of explanations from Rose, who is also a guide if you need. Communication was really easy with them, even before arriving. A "collectivos" picked us up at the airport and Rose organized another one to drop us to Sao Filipe. We eat at the Guesthouse in the evenings. At midday, we went several times to Isabel Restaurant ( actually Isabel is Rose's sister but we didn't know it the first time!). By the way, Rose has 6 brothers/sisters at Portela.

De cara frente a la playa, Hotel Savana ofrece hospedaje de 3 estrellas en São Filipe, y cuenta con una alberca al aire libre, jardín y terraza. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Impresionante la recepción Laetitia, propietaria todo sonrisa, un 12 sobre 10 y los empleados igual 12 sobre 10. La tranquilidad...

Contando con vista a la ciudad, TCHAN LOVe en Portela cuenta con hospedaje, un jardín, una terraza, un restaurante y un bar. Estuvimos dos noches , lugar tranquilo a pie del volcán. Subimos al volcán con su guía, Juliano , y todo fue perfecto

Casa Adriano & Filomena está situado en Portela y ofrece un restaurante y un bar. Este bed and breakfast cuenta con estacionamiento privado de cortesía y una cocina compartida. Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. Thanks Adriano and Filomena for these days on another planet !

Pensao Zé Doce está situado en Portela y ofrece un bar. El bed and breakfast tiene jardín y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Ofrece toallas y ropa de cama. Villages on the lava field in caldera is incredible. Jose is super host. He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.
