The house is made from an old cow barn, very chic and cozy, well furnished and equipped with everything you may need. Bamboo screens divide the large space elegantly so that the bed is nicely located in privacy. Also lovely books and postcards in the collection. As a passer by, I also liked that the house is conveniently located from the highway, which makes it the best stop for driving from north to the south.

El Boutique Hotel La Couronne, situado en el centro de estilo barroco de Solothurn, es uno de los hoteles más antiguos de Suiza y se reformó por completo en 2016. Gracious charm, beautifully decorated. Historic but modern. Perfect location. Excellent helpful staff.

I am not sure that I can rate this stay, because the owner informed us that there was a flood and the apartment was no longer available, but he offered an alternative. However, he only partially did what he said he would provide us in that alternative apartment so we ended up sleeping on a mattress because the bed was missing the frame. The kitchen was not functional, and the internet was pretty bad. Overall the experience was bad especially because he promised he would fix the bed in the second day of our stay, but then he stopped answering to messages.
