My husband and I planned this as a last-minute getaway to unwind for a couple of days. We were looking for a cozy B&B where we could relax and enjoy some down time, and the Sutton House was exactly what we had in mind. Thais greeted us at the door when we arrived, and had our reservations details in hand. She took the time to show us what amenities were available to us during our stay and walked us through all the comforts of our room, so we could take advantage of all this beautiful B&B had to offer. We stayed in the Blue Hyacinth room which was quite large yet charming and cozy. The bathroom had a beautiful soaking tub, a cozy fireplace and sweet vanity for getting ready. Thais and her staff have really thought of everything, and you instantly feel like her home is your home. I wish we were able to enjoy more of Sally's cooking at breakfast, but what I did have was delicious. As other reviews mention, the B&B is located on a busy road, but we didn't find this disturbing at all, and we had the advantage of seeing the lake from our room which was well worth the location.

Great location. Beautiful view. Block away from the beach, restaurants, arcade, boardwalk. Comfortable bed. Great hospitality. Owner was very personable, courteous and friendly. She was quick to respond to my questions, and requests. I would definitely stay there again…

    View of the lake (sunrise) was very nice in the morning, location in downtown Meredith convenient for walking into town, on site restaurant had reasonable prices and good food (Common Man establishments), clean rooms/facilities, free parking, seemed like there were a number of activities available through the hotel (snow shoeing, ice skating, etc.)
