We totally fell in love with this place. Location, food, rooms, sauna, everything was perfect. Everybody was amazing, we felt so welcomed. Don't forget to try the local gin! We will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

This place was an absolute gem! Super clean and fresh-smelling rooms, beautiful surroundings – a little stream right next to the house and deer walking around like it’s nothing. Totally magical! Breakfast was amazing – all local stuff: fresh eggs, bread, ham, cheese… everything delicious and homemade. But the best part? The lovely owner! She treated us like family – so warm, kind, and caring. We honestly felt like we were staying with close relatives, not in a guesthouse. I totally recommend this place to anyone. It’s one of those rare spots you just want to come back to.

The location and its view is spectacular, easily accessible by car. The hosts are so welcoming, kind and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean, and very well equipped with towels, showergel/shampoo. The breakfast was very authentic with cold cuts, cheese, yogurt but you can ask for eggs as well. - We liked everything about the guesthouse and the room. We used it as a base for visiting Logar Valley but also driving the scenic route nearby. - Sonja was extremely helpful and kind, such a great host. - Super tasty breakfast with locally produced break, honey and jam. - Clean, comfortable room in a location surrounded by mountains. Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank. - Very highly recommended.
