Just so light, airy and spacious,being greeted by Grant and the cat and the dog. You are overlooking glorious countryside and serenaded by bird song. I couldn't get over that we had a living room, kitchen area, decking, outdoor baths and the tented bedroom all to ourselves. I thought we might have to share a kitchen and BBQ but you don't. There's an open log fire and marshmallows to toast. We really wished we'd booked another night. You need to bring something to eat/ BBQ ideally. Then hunker down on the sofa - and there's everything you need..

This property exceeded our expectations in all aspects - Exceptional customer services by the hosts, Cleanliness, Facilities, ambience, space, easy access to city and other tourist spots. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy a quite time in Rotorua especially if you have children. 100/10

A wonderful, serene spot! We had a very relaxing time. The couple who managed the lodge were so kind and friendly and always doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, with so much variety of food. We definitely hope to return.
