We visited Valetta by taxi as it was too windy for the ferry but it was really cheap. As soon as we got there we were grateful we were staying in Sliema which is much quieter and a bit more local. Alex the front office manager is an absolute superstar as is the security guard (who's name I've sadly forgotten). The garage option (payable) provided by the host was a bonus, as there is little to none free street parking nearby, so we would recommed this appartment to anyone who rents a car in Malta.
