We LOVED everything about this place! Franco and Paola were the most wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts and the house and rooms are absolutely stunning. After a long day's hiking on the Via Degli Dei, Franco very kindly offered to pick us up in Monzuno to bring us to the house, he was so friendly and kind. We had amazing rooms with comfy beds and hot showers. We ate the most delicious home cooked meal in the restaurant, very fresh ingredients, amazing clementinas! Franco also took us back to our route the next day after a lovely breakfast and taught us a lot about the local area. We can't wait to back!

Giovanna saved us after a rainy day on the Via degli Day. We had a lovely stay and were welcomed with open arms. She was incredibly thoughtful and even offered to drive us to the trattoria in town, offered to let us use the washing machine and cleaned our hiking shoes! The room was very nice and the breakfast was really good too! Perfect stay and would definitely recommend!

Marco, the host, took great care of us and showed us everything. He even made us coffee at breakfast and was incredibly helpful overall. Among other things, he also reserved a table for us at a restaurant. You rarely come across such a dedicated host! The surroundings are fantastic – unfortunately, we were only passing through on our way to Tuscany and stayed just one night in this wonderful house. The region easily rivals Tuscany, and it’s a real pity we didn’t know that beforehand. It’s a perfect holiday destination for relaxing and hiking, nestled in beautiful mountainous nature!

This is a great accommodation option, set in the lovely mountains, on the Via Degli Dei and the German Gothic Line of World War 2. It is 5 kms from the train station at Vado, and 4kms from Monzuno. There are buses to both towns. For an inexpensive hot meal (takeaway) option, I would strongly recommend Sonia next door. You will need to book ahead and the host's will give you contact numbers. I tried all 3 accommodations at the residence - tent, bungalow, and apartment -, and they were all cozy and inexpensive. The host couple are most hospitable and helpful. Great value!     Beautiful location on a hillside with views. Car park is large and level Pool is a decent size and clean with plenty of sunbeds. Room was good with a ceiling fan that was quiet and efficient Bathroom good size and shower good You have to drive to get to a restaurant. There are a couple of local ones in Monzuno, decent prices that the locals use. We ate at one, nice pasta, pizzas also looked good.We asked to check in early to use the pool and this wasn’t an issue. So able to relax after a long drive.

    We stayed here for 3 nights and I would say that the place is great. The place is really clean, they actually tidy our room everyday. It has a very nice view, private parking and private entrance and terrace. Breakfast is very nice. Lots of choices. I especially like the little jar of jams. It’s delicious. The owner of the place is very friendly. There’s an electric kettle in our room and a fridge with bottled water which they fill up daily.
