Spacious, clean and the host is helpful. There’s a big window inside the room which is great. The house gives you a vibe of lonely planet lol. Love here We didn’t have enough hot shower for 8 people but I guess that’s one of our members taking too much hot water away. Host answered me pretty fast, and send lovely parent here to check. Helpful host, clear direction. Nice house surrounded by expanse view. Big parking area, easy to find. Big space in additional living area. When we booked, the property clearly state about bathroom. Like the kitchen and dining area is separated. ( can also eat inside kitchen area too) Situated nearby main road but feel solitude, which is nice. Great price & value overall.

It was such a nice, beautiful, modern and comfortable house. It accommodate all our needs. Perfect for large group and it is further away from city, so we could enjoy our stay without disturbing neighbours.

Great location, 15 minutes away from Borganes . The house is perfect, it has everything you need for the perfect stay. The kitchen allows you to cook with ease, with the addition of the outside covered barbecue for cooking steaks/ lamb etc without setting off any fire alarms. All the essentials salt, pepper, spices, coffee, kitchen roll , sugar, etc etc were provided, with toilet roll, conditioner, shampoo, hand wash , body wash, etc which was a lovely surprise! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the whole house is decorated to a high standard. The hot tub is a jet spa which we used daily after a long day out. It’s perfect. Having a cabin with bedroom and separate shower /wc means it’s also perfect for larger groups, as we were a party of 2 we had plenty of room. The house has great facilities for washing/ drying and has a large TV if you feel compelled on stormy nights to watch a bit of television. The icing on the cake is the location for northern lights, having a great 360 view without interruption means you’ve got the best chances. Out of 12 nights we luckily managed to see 10 nights/ mornings despite some very challenging weather in November. We didn’t need to drive out, we just happily sat wrapped up under the covered deck and waited for Aurora to appear. There is a main deck which has a sheltered covered area which is perfect, then a lower deck for the cabin, a base deck in the garden and to the side a grass garden area. Very nice garden furniture and a picnic table for warmer days! The road to the house is a little pitted in winter but nothing crazy just drive carefully. We tend to have 4X4 or AWD car in November as the roads to tend to wear in winter. The location is perfect for driving up the west coast and north. The host was lovely and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay at Lundur again and the other properties on the portfolio.

Beautiful place at a great location, it is very private and intimate. Plenty of room, a lot of kitchen supplies, and the hot tub and barbecue are amazing.

We've had a wonderful stay here on our first night in Iceland. The house is beautifully designed and very quiet and warm. Highly recommend.

Confortable and cosy house. Very well-equipped. Good communication with the hosts. Perfect location to see the northern lights (including directly from the top bedroom).
