Staff was very nice, Avadhesh Tiwari was amazing enough to let us choose our room ourselves since there was enough capacity! :) The Hotelpool and garden area was just a dream, with all the birds and animals (parrots, peacocks, squirrels and more) and still a very clean and well groomerd area it felt like in a Disney movie. Everything was really clean, breakfast was nice and rooms were a dream as well. Thanks to all staff, espacially Rakesh, Sugan, Tejveer and Chhote who where always friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at maison Jaipur! We stayed there for about 4nights and we were really sad to leave. The family is absolutely adorable, we had lots of amazing conversations and shared really nice moments together. We felt like we were part of the family. On top of that, the room was perfect, diner really good, good wifi, always here to help, absolutely nothing bad to say. If we come back one day, we will definitely stay there again. Savista is every bit as beautiful and tranquil as the photos suggest. The home cooked meals were full of dishes unlike anything we had anywhere else in India, and often featured home grown produce, including butter, milk and yogurt from their own cow. What the photos won't tell you is that Savista is owned and managed by a husband and wife team who are some of the most warm, gentle and charming people you will ever have the good fortune to meet.

This is a lovely homestay with a very clean room, 24 hot water and great Wifi. The owners are lovely and spoke perfect English and were always happy to see us. We luckily were able to check in early after a quick phone call with the owner as our train arrived at 6am. The tuk tux was 150 from the train station to the homestay as it is not in the city center. We were really happy with our choice to stay here. The area the property is located in was excellent, it was so quiet at night and we slept very well here. From the first floor terrace you can see kids flying kites in the street and the occasional random cow wandering down the lane, a really nice little local snapshot. It is not a glossy touristy area at all so there is no hassle. The surrounding area has all the shops you could ever want with a supermarket across the main road and an excellent restaurant/bakery called Rhadika that we ate at 7 or 8 times and had excellent service at. Street Dhaba's do omelettes and pizza and everything in between. There is also a green grocer across the main road and we bought fresh fruit and vegetables at local prices. Everything here is at local prices. The whole time you are treated as a local, you don't get hassled by anyone in the shops or on the street. It's just regular Indian life. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
