The stay was quite cozy and clean. It is beautifully build and intricately decorated. The hosts are very kind and warm. They recieved us in odd hours which was exceptional hospitality. Beautiful setting, lovely rooms. Staff incredible helpful. Special mention of Ricky and Shang who managed to magically get hold of a rare book for me minutes before closing time and having it passed through several people so it was delivered at 11 o’clock pm - I was leaving Kolkata the following morning. I shall always cherish that book.

everything is absolutely perfect in this hotel, the people who work there too, the girl at the reception Tuhina is very kind and helped us with all things. if you go to Calcutta book an extra amount to stay in this hotel, this investment is really worth it, the city does not have much infrastructure and being able to arrive at the quiet and nice hotel at the end of the day is always a gift. the food is also wonderful, the energy is special
