The stay was amazing. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect for a getaway from the city. Kieran was lovely, and introduced us to all the animals. We're going to be talking about Danny the cat and Milo the lamb for a while :)

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Big and nice garten to relax and children have a lot of place to play. Some outdoor plays ( ping pong, Minigolf ...). Beds are very good. The place is very quiet, especialy during the night. Hope to come back soon. It was a very nice holiday. Thank you for all Kathleen and Tommy

The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of the Town. If you are visiting Ireland, ditch the big cities, start with Ballyhaunis and check into JAMES LYONS B&B, you will thank me later. We had such a nice stay at Glenvela Guest House and were a bit sad we only stayed for one night. Everything was exceptionally clean, our room and the whole house were lovely (every room has their private bathroom) and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. However, the best thing about our stay were Maureen, Ronald and their three dogs - we could not imagine better hosts, and the dogs welcomed us with much enthusiasm and we were happy to follow their request for extensive cuddling (I must add that the dogs are kept in a private area of the house and the hosts only let them out when the guests are comfortable).

This was the perfect stay for our family with young children. The location was picturesque. The fridge had milk and water and there was tea, coffee and cereal complimentary. We were able to park right outside the front door. The cabin is so cosy inside, with really comfortable beds, great attention to detail and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of space. We especially loved the huge wet room ensuite and the flat screen TV in the master bedroom. We were even blessed with a fan to keep us cool on the hottest night of the year!! Outside there is a hammock and a trampoline which I'm sure we could have made use of had we had more time to stay. The cabin is within a short walk of several bars, shops and restaurants, which is very convenient. Overall, this is definitely one of my new favourite places to stay (and we are regular travellers). We will be back!

The house was perfect. So comfortable, spacious and homely. The hot tub was an added bonus. The whole family loved it.
