Clean , modern house , good Wi-Fi and Netflix for the kids . Great location to see the sights . Ivor the host was very accommodating. Oil heating ran out one evening and he popped around within the hour to replenish it . 5 beds , 4 bathrooms , so plenty of space for everyone. Really enjoyed our stay , will be back next year ☺️

Wonderful, peaceful setting. A perfect getaway in a lovely location with kind owners. We loved that it felt so private, but was only a few minutes drive into town for groceries etc.

Joan who owns and runs this B&B was exceptional. Super friendly and very hospitable. Her breakfast was adequate and cooked to perfection. The location is absolutely beautiful and perfect for exploring the countryside. If you're looking for bars and an exciting nightlife then this is not the place for you but if you are looking for peace and quiet and nature, look no further.

Stayed in a few B&Bs during our trip. This one was by far the best. Received a call from Rachel (owner) shortly after we booked to confirm our room details as there was some confusion due to how we booked (our issue/fault). So we appreciated that. We arrived around 8pm and were greeted by Julian, owner. Very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Explained everything we needed as we were going back out to watch a match and planned on getting back in the house late and didn't want to wake anyone else. Asked what time we wanted breakfast and he said they would have it going at that time and we would see him in the AM. Got in that property without any issues and the room was very quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Came down for breakfast and the room had pastries, cereal, water and orange juice waiting and the room was setup nicely. Rachel asked what we wanted for breakfast from the given options and everything came out perfect. After breakfast we were able to have a great chat with Julian and due to his experience with the area and tour guide duties was able to direct us to alternative options based off our current plans and ended up being the highlight of the trip. Can't thank him enough for the tip and information. We would love to come back and bring our kids and stay at the Five Ferns again in the near future. Can't recommend the property, Julian/Rachel, and the area enough. Will definitely be back.

Location quite, safe and plenty of space. Garden is well kept and cottage clean, cosy and spacious. Beds comfortable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. We found some essentials for the morning. Definitely would go back there.

Beautiful house and cozy rooms. Delicious super complete breakfast. Hosts are more than helpful and pleasant, we followed their their recommendations and it was a success. We forgot a piece of clothes and they did not only call us to let us know but also sent it to us. Excellent choice!
