Beautiful location, welcome hamper on arrival and friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the house and grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. We had a group of 24 and we wanted for nothing as everything you needed was supplied and we cooked several meals with ease. The hot tub was lovely and hot and ready to use.

The old Forge is an old building but very well maintained and we were very comfortable . We appreciated our host's generosity and the delicious cooked breakfast. We were the only guests there as the hosts had to leave the next morning so had not taken more bookings. In deference to our early booking and the fact we were from Australia and possibly in the middle of our trip, they let our booking stand. We really appreciated this. A real positive for this accommodation is that there is parking at the premises, and it is free. (Often "parking available " means paid parking in a council car park.)

The camping pods are so lovely and clean and have everything you need for a nice chilled trip. We stayed there for one night and used the bbq facilities which are located outside each pod. Everything you need is on the decking in a lock box. Parking is very close to the pods and so are the washing facilities which are also very clean with a good shower. Each pod has its own small bathroom. We will definitely be back!

    The room was a good size , an excellent walk in shower. The room was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. The car park is small and round the back but there is parking nearby. SDky sports was in the bar to watch the football.

    A good pub/hotel centrally located in the town centre with car parking at the rear . The room was comfortable with en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee facilities. The building is quite old so the interior is a bit quirky which adds to the experience. The food served is good quality home cooked .

    The staff and location were brilliant. We unfortunately didn't get a car parking space at the hotel but top marks to the council as there is a large car park within a few mins walk that costs nothing! Room was comfortable and had everything we needed once we asked for an electric fan as it was rather warm. Breakfast was yummy.
