Great location, less than 5 minutes to the ferry. We arrived at 3am and had arranged for someone to pick us up and a private boat through the guesthouse. All went perfectly. They helped us arrange tours as well! Great air con, wifi, breakfast was nice, you can get food from a local cafe delivered and the staff were helpful.

An amazing hotel next to the river. The room was clean and tidy. We had the number 1 room for 3 people . It was a big room with 3 windows with an amazing view (the front rooms have also a small balcony to sit outside) The breakfast was nice and the owner also suggested if one day had to leave early to prepare our breakfast for take away.

For those who are looking for relaxing quiet place in Aswan, I can strongly recommend this guest house, managed by Omar – Wonderful host!! 1) Hospitality Omar is a man who really cares about the guest, provides wide range of service based on our requests, which was extremely helpful. (late night boat arrival, early morning transportation/sandwich, etc.) The outstanding uniqueness is - He never pushed his own desire to us, he just quickly supported us, when we faced some issues. For a Foreigner, this may be a very rare communication experience in Egypt. (Negotiating with the local people sometimes happen to be very stressful..) 2) Delicious Omar is an excellent cook, his cuisine shows a great local atmosphere. Relaxing breakfast and dinner (option) on the roof top was something which added high value to our vacation. 3) Relaxing Isolated island from the city, quiet atmosphere, warm Nubian people, Ferry on the Nile river experience, etc, great place to relax. (hopefully without wifi – connection was perfect)

Everything was amazing, I loved the location as it is close to everywhere you can go to the Aswan center by a felucca (it’s faster and accessible all day along) … When you’re in Nuba live like the Nubians 😊 P.S. it was actually pet friendly, our cat enjoyed his time 😻

This is a beautiful and traditional place to stay with amazing views of the Nile and such lovely staff! We arrived late at night and were served kofta, rice, baked tomatoes and potatoes,and tahini, all served outside our bedroom. The staff can not do enough for you and the breakfast by the Nile was unforgettable.

Everything. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Very accomodating since we had to get breakfast packed because of early visits. The food was fantastic which we could order on site. We loved staying here. Said was incredibly helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble, and the family vibe was lovely. We arrived very late the first night and Said was there to greet us and offered us a meal etc. Wanas Kato provided a beautiful and calm oasis in what had been a busy trip so far! Said helped us with all our transport and day trips. He brought us on his own boat to Philae Temple, and made everything easy for us. We were also kept well fed! We would go back to Aswan just to stay here.
