Everything was perfect . A home away from home . The property is run by Gonzalez and his wife and they are the nicest people . The hotel is spotlessly clean with immaculate gardens and a gorgeous pool The room had a big comfortable bed with crisp white linen , a fridge and tv . The lighting was good with bedside lights and bedside table .Our room was serviced every day and the towels changed . Free Morning coffee and biscuits in the lobby was a nice touch and there is a water cooler for water refills which we loved. They have a book exchange area and are knowledgeable about the local activities and sights The property is very secure at night It’s close to town , only 5 mins walk to eating places and 5 mins to the beach . We highly recommend staying here

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! 10/10 The staff were so friendly and we felt sooo looked after, they went out their way to support us and make us feel welcomed. The hotel itself is gorgeous, so well thought out and the standards are really high. Breakfast was so yummy! They catered to vegetarians when asked which was really amazing, a good mix on the plate for breakfast.

We loved the hotel because it was very cosy and the staff was just absolutely brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful and smiling ! so rare ! Well done ! We loved the pool, watching our favorite Netflix show on the tv while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We loved the breakfasts and the massage table ! We recommend this hotel. Bathroom and toilets are also clean and perfect.

La Prometida is a beautiful hotel with a real personal touch from the owners who were also incredibly helpful in advising and providing recommendations for the surrounding area (as were all the staff, who were also so friendly!). Breakfast was also delicious with various options to choose from.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was tranquil and felt truly authentic, right in the heart of the jungle. We could hear all kinds of wildlife around us, which made the experience even more special. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We loved the swimming pool and the apartment. It was all beautiful and clean, plus even though it was not a hotel we had daily room cleaning service. In addition, the staff was very helpful and they recommended activities for us so that we could enjoy our time in Puerto Viejo.
