Overall, this sleek and stylish guesthouse is a hidden gem and perfect getaway.

You must have dinner and breakfast as a part of your reservation. The onsens were really wonderful! There were private and public ones on-site and another large public onsen across the street. The mountain location is about 25 min drive away from the train station, but they run a shuttle service from the Fujigaoka Train Station at 4:50pm every day. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Ghibli Park was a 15 minute shuttle ride.

I messaged a bit earlier before arrival that I need extra bed for my elder daughter and the receptionist there had upgraded me to bigger room which was more than enough to stay for 4 persons. The hot spring bath was superb - the facilities of the hot spring bath was well planned and organized. Max value next to the hotel is very convenient. We traveled by car so free car park was a plus and we did not care that it's a bit far from the city center.
