It was the perfect way to start the day with also an outstanding view over the beach Between the exceptional service, cheerful staff, and top-notch amenities, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Idou Malabata to anyone looking for a stay that’s both comfortable and full of heart.

Breakfast buffet was very varied and you could also order separately for example poached eggs with avocado and toast. The staff where extremely attentive and despite being a buffet would insist on bringing you your coffee and toast etc. Very service minded which adds to the experience. The service was excellent across the property. We ate at the Persian restaurant and drank the local Moroccan wine which was very good. We used the excellent spa facilities, including massage which were relatively good. Cleanliness 10/10.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, including restaurant suggestions and reservations, local sightseeing and coordinating our pick-up for a car service in the walking-only medina, . The hammam at Lina was excellent and luxurious. Breakfast was great - pretty standard Moroccan fare but really nicely done. We had the room on the top floor that opens onto the rooftop lounge. During the day, we would leave the door open to take in the mountains and the Chefchaouen rooftops. The room was beautiful, very large with a huge walk-in shower and lots of Moroccan tile. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Chefchaouen.
