This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to take such great care of us. The cook was fantastic, preparing incredible meals that we’ll never forget. The staff also helped us organize drivers and day trips, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, with immaculate rooms and facilities. The scenery and views were breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. This part of Sri Lanka is truly a must-see, and staying at this hotel made our visit even more remarkable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Con vista a la montaña, Hilldale Retreat está situado en Nuwara Eliya y tiene un restaurante, un salón compartido, snack bar, jardín, alberca al aire libre durante todo el año y terraza. La atención del personal es inmejorable. Las dos personas que nos atendieron estuvieron pendientes de cada detalle para hacer de nuestra estancia una experiencia inolvidable. Pudimos disfrutar tanto de la piscina como de la sauna para nosotros solos. La comida estaba muy rica. El desayuno ha sido el mejor que hemos tomado en Sri Lanka. Si tuviéramos que destacar un único aspecto por encima de todos, sería el trato personal de los empleados.

The Argyle Luxury Boutique tiene un gimnasio, un jardín y una terraza solárium con alberca y desayuno buffet en Hatton. Las instalaciones eran fantásticas y el personal nos hizo sentir muy cuidados. El spa excelente. Especial gracias a Rushantani (que nos cuidó durante toda la estancia, a Shiva (por su simpatía), a Dimutu (por el masaje en el spa). Fueron todos maravillosos

Beautiful peaceful location out of town, beside the highest village in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by tea plantations and other small cultivations, and inside the grounds is a perfectly tended garden and very professional welcome from the small team. Short walks available to a viewpoint amongst the tea. Room and bathroom both spacious and as in the photos. Dinner and breakfast both delicious. The banana bread in particular! No problem to order us a taxi to go to the station the next morning too. More expensive than the average accommodation, but certainly value for money compared to other similar high-end “boutique” accommodations in Sri Lanka (which can start at $900 per night - and I’m not sure the extra butler would be worth the difference!)

A beautiful place with stunning views! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. We visited with our baby, and the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The restaurant and food were excellent. Highly recommended!
