The location of the hotel is mere 10-15 min walking distance just off the busy tourist spots and streets e.g. German Bakery in Lighthouse. The hotel itself gives me more of a B&B or self - catering apartment vibe, which is very nice as it feels more authentic,, local, peaceful and I felt very safe while staying there with my son. I would say the place is not suitable for small children. My 5***** go to Adnan (friendly, attentive and very enthusiastic guest manager) who is ready to twist and turn to keep his guests happy- should it be a friendly laugh and conversation, a room upgrade, tea or coffee, or a quick run to the nearest pharmacy when you badly need it and can not make it yourself. He is an absolute sunshine. My absolute favorite is their "Egyptian corner" on the rooftop where to relax in the evening and meet up with new people. I travelled off season, so it was nice and quiet there!

    The chefs were superb. Great choices on the buffet, their food effort on new year was very amazing. The reception staff was very friendly and accomodating. Private beach as well as 4 daily shuttles to Dahab, rounded up this was a great experience.
