It's hard to summarize my emotional rollercoaster for that day. I had a pretty dreadful day in the back country and rolled into the villa quite late. To my surprise I was greeted and treated as if I came come home to family. Before I could unpack I had plates of food, stories, wine, it was amazing. The location is gorgeous. Plants and flowers everywhere. Grapevines pumping out little grapes for the wine. The pictures looked nice although it wasn't until I actually got there where I stopped and it really hit me how beautifully set the place is. Breakfast was also A+ with extra fruits picked right off the trees. It honestly felt like a little retreat at a family member that wanted to spoil you.

The best thing in The Barrels Ms is „just” the place: friendly atmosphere thanks to hosts, the best food (delicious and enormous breakfasts and dinners with amazing wines, which they produce), overwhelming calm when you are there, beautiful landscapes, interesting area to explore, it’s truly the best place to stay. Completely amazing apartment, would rate higher then 10 if possible. Beatiful very spacious rooms, amazing bathrooms, balcony with great view on the city. Host was very friendly, explained everything. Would stay longer then one night if we had the time. Definitely worth the money, you get much more then you pay for, best apartment in gjirokaster:)

Our experience at the apartment was great. It was fully furnished with care, furnitures are brand new and modern. It had everything we needed and made us feel like home. Very comfortable beds. Coffee and tea are offered by the owner. Free parking near. Elona, the owner, is very very helpful, responsive and kind :) They will make you feel like home and try to make your staying more beautiful.

We got beautiful flats, very well equipped and good value for money. The host Piro and his father are both very nice and helpful people. The flat is gorgeous, very comfortable, we got water and some snacks too at arrival. The view on the castle is awesome. There are restaurants, bakeries, shops, everything you may need close by. Also private parking is ensured just in front of the building.
