La habitación es súper cómoda, todo está muy limpio y los alrededores son maravillosos. Echaré de menos el desayuno en el jardín :)

We stayed here one night for my birthday and the room was absolutely beautiful and nicely set up. My favourite thing is the wood burning fireplace in the room which made for an extremely cost atmosphere. The property itself is pretty and in a nice area a short 4min drive from the old historic part of Swellendam. Lana helped us book a nice dinner (the last table) in town upon our arrival and was very sweet. The room had nice complimentary touches (coffee, rusk, etc.). This room would be great for couples or family with 1 or 2 small kids as there are bunk beds in the room.

Saxon Lodge a bed & breakfast in Gansbaai, which is known as the ideal location for shark cage diving and whale watching. Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.

Breakfast has as good selection including fresh fruits, and surprisingly a breakfast special everyday which makes their breakfast incredible intriguing. Its extremely difficulty to single out the names to thank the staff because you all welcomed us with sincere hospitality and attentive service. We wholeheartedly loved our room with enormous space to relax and enjoy the sea breeze and view.

In the evening, spectacular sunset views await. At night, it's a perfect location for star gazing. With any weather, the views on the sea and mountains are spectacular! The central fire place makes the mornings and evenings comfy and cozy. The food is all freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The host family are the warmest and gentlest we've ever met. "Be at home", they said. We were.

It has everything you could want. Gorgeous views, truly friendly and hospitable hosts, and a really comfortable and luxurious accommodation! This is the perfect place for a reset, to connect deeply with family or friends, or a space to "switch off" from the distractions of the day. You feel completely separate from the hustle and bustle of city life here. We will recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine getaway. We only stayed one night and had to leave earlier the next morning, so I HIGHLY recommend you book TWO nights, instead of just one. There is a refreshing dam to swim in, beautiful nature reserve walks/hikes, and hammocks to swing in and relax. It kind of has it all. My wife and I stayed here to spend quality time together, so we intentionally spent time mostly ourselves, but if you are looking for making new friendships and having a laugh, there is a communal space where you can enjoy that as well. We highly recommend this place, and will be back again if we are in the area! Don't miss the opportunity to stay here! If you are looking for a luxury outdoors experience to refocus, relax, or have fun this is the place for you!
