Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

The facilities were beautiful, the views were spectacular and the beds were the best I slept in my entire time in south Africa. We will be back when we visit south Africa again. Thank you

The hospitality and quality of the room and services really surprised us, as did the cleanliness and beauty of the entire place. We felt immersed in all the African fauna and flora. It was a great experience, it really surprised us.
