Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

I am at a loss for words to describe how kind he is. I am really very grateful for Mr. Chen's kindness and attention. Thank you so much Mr. Chen’s we will never forget your kindness. The room and bathroom are super comfortable and clean. They are always cleaned every day. The location is super strategic because the shuttle stop is right across the street. At check in and check out, Mr. Chen will pick you up and drop you off on time. There is not a single negative thing about this place.

The Pension is closed to the free shuttle bus to go to the ski resort and there is a lot of restaurant/cafe around. The private Onsen is also a really good + ! I wish I could stay longer and will definitely come back

Shiga Kogen Lodge cuenta con vista a la montaña, WiFi gratis, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, y está ubicado en Yamanouchi, a 20 km de Jigokudani Monkey Park. We loved everything - from the food, the onsen, the new sauna and especially the owners and Moko!

Lovely place to stay on a quiet street in Hakuba a short walk to restaurants and shuttle for skiing. Owners are wonderful people. Extremely helpful and friendly. The private onsen is nice after a day on the slopes.
