Located halfway between John O'Groats & Thurso, a hidden gem, Wayne the host is a wealth of information & could not be more welcoming. There are 2 pubs located 5 minutes away, we had dinner at the Northern Sands, excellent meals. Would have stayed longer if time permitted, if you're looking for peace & quiet Celtic Lodges is perfect. Highly recommend.

Little Fox Hideaway is a little piece of heaven on earth and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to celebrate a birthday weekend. Everything about our stay was pure perfection, with loving and caring attention to detail from all the information you need beforehand and during your stay to the tiny little attention to detail like tea / coffee / chocs / robes etc. A peaceful, private and tranquil location, with the most incredible views, as well as fantastic walks right up the back garden path. The hot tub is amazing and is fantastically looked after by the hosts. Lovely led lights in the roof over the hot tub as well as a fully lit decking area and steap, make for a stunning spa like experience. The most comfortable bed, bathrobes for each guest, lovely soft bath, hand and face towels and also tea towels and cleaning cloths in the kitchen. The bath was also incredible it was the- best bath ever, so comfy to have a soak, with heavenly scented lemongrass and ginger toiletries kindly provided. The projector and screen turn the bedroom into your own movie room and add to the whole luxurious ambience throughout. Nothing else was required from this very well equipped, well presented piece of Scottish heaven and we loved every minute of our stay.

Everything - the stay was unreal such a fabulous experience. Brian and Gillian are kind, helpful and friendly they made our experience better than expected. I love the animals around the property particularly their lovely dog Bunny who made the stay even more enjoyable. The cabin is so cosy and the highlight is having a private sauna that you can heat up whenever you feel like it. I was sad to leave and wish we stayed a bit longer and for that reason will definelty be back. It’s close to shops, nice land for walks and excursions. I would recommend this place to stay to everyone it’s great for the soul and so relaxing! Thank you once again Brian, Gillian and Bunny 🧡

Ubicado en Aboyne, en la región de Grampian, Cairngorm Bothies ofrece alojamiento con estacionamiento privado gratis. It was a fun experience with the kids. The bothie is a small wood cabin, very cosy and ours (there are 12) was very clean and well equipped. The kids loved the location in the woods, the feeling of living a bit like in the olden times with the wood stove. If you are considering renting for 4 people please be advised that the double bed is a regular size but the two extra beds are quite short and not suitable for two adults. We were fine because our kids are still short enough to fit comfortably.
