Stunning accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, an excellent guide, fascinating excursions, a scientific research centre which genuinely contributes to conserving the flora and fauna whilst helping the local community. Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

This lodge is incredibly lovely and peaceful, beautifully immersed in the Amazonia forest facing the Tambopata River. Not far from Puerto Maldonado, but you feel like lost in the deep of the forest. The rooms are huge and perfect, with an incredibile view on the river. All the meals are made with love by the kind Pierina and are truly delicious. The excursions are marvelous: we enjoyed the night walking in the forest, the kayak trip on the river, the cayman ‘buscada’ and the tour to Sandoval Lake. The staff is so caring and sweet - a special thanks to Ciro and Jaime! Our Amazonian visit could haven’t been better than here! Recommended by heart.

The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

We loved a few days of relaxing by the pool in a little slice of paradise. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, the food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful.
