Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

The stay had the best view of the main attraction in Ella i.e. Nine Arche Bridge. The room & bathroom was very clean and pretty. The food served was tasty & healthy. Host Nihal & his family were very humble and responsive. We loved our stay and completely recommend you to book this if you are traveling to Ella.

Nethsara cottage is absolutely gorgeous - beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a rural, quiet spot in the hills above Ella. Delicious breakfasts are served on the balcony that has amazing views of the valley and the Mahamevnawa Monastery in the distance. Madusha is a lovely host, organising tuktuks on our request. We were so sad to leave and couldn’t recommend it more!

The scenery within the property is breathtaking, like something straight out of Jumanji. Every tropical tree you can imagine, hills, running water and a rice pattie. The location was perfect for us, only a 10 min walk to Ella town but far enough that it felt like you were in the hills. The staff were a highlight, too. They go out of their way to make your stay authentic and pleasurable. Very, very nice people.

The perfect getaway in Ella! Located on the path to Little Adam’s Peak and within walking distance to restaurants and cafes, but in a very quiet and green area. You can watch birds, butterflies and squirrels from the confort of the patio. Beautiful, comfortable and clean room, and a Delicious breakfast served on the patio. People are very friendly and the view is amazing! Breakfast is very good aswell. Location is on the way to Ella rock. Very beautiful to wake up there and have breakfast with the best view I have ever seen!
