We loved this place. Lots of thoughtful touches. Warm and comfortable and a perfect base for exploring the volcano. The host was welcoming and had useful information about hikes.

it is definitly bigger than all the other accomodations we have slept at in Réunion. It has more of a hotel-feeling. But the overall vibe was really nice and relaxed. The room was good and clean. The food was excellent and all staff members were extremely friendly! We used it as a base to do hikes in the area.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is amazing: cozy, friendly, comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect start of the day: delicious and accompanied by a nice chat with the chef. Really nice experience to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant, serving gourmand fondue and raclette. The lift in the hotel was also very convenient to use with our luggage.

Super nice hosts, we had very late check in and they made it possible. Hotel owners are a super nice family and you feel right at home. The hotel is right in the center of cilaos and breakfast is great with lots of fresh fruits! We will definitely come back if we have the occasion!

The breakfast had a special touch of 'warm welcome' with a nice home-prepared jam, whole-wheat bread, fruits, and yoghurt, which already put visitors in the calm, natural spirit and atmosphere of Cilaos. The names of the rooms which reflect the natural beauty of Reunion: Piton des Neiges,... written on the table were like a special customised invitation.

Perfect accommodation if you need to rest a bit in the middle of your GR R2 hike. It is also a great starting point for the Piton des Neiges hike. We had everything we needed.

I stayed for only one night, but I loved the place. The location is very good, close to the center of cilaos. The place is quiet and the host is extremely friendly, also the view from the balcony is breathtaking, you can see the walls of the volcano and the Piton des Neiges.

Very nice property with spacious rooms in the heart of the Cilaos. It's perfectly located to do numerous hikes available in Cilaos. I was upgraded to the better room with the small garden and magnificent view to the Piton des Neiges, the room is quite big, very clean and has everything you need for your stay. And thank you for a very warm welcome!

Meeting our hosts and their warm hospitality was a great privilege. They have invested much in this property and a real highlight for us us was to enjoy dinner with them, the table d'hote. We can't speak french but this turned out to be a very enjoyable evening for all of us - both using google translate. We learnt much from Reunion also. The weather was kind to us and we could hike to La Chapelle the next morning. It is in a quite part of Cilaos with of course the Piton des Neiges towering above the town
