The welcome into the hotel was fabulous, we received a flower garland, some tea, a massage and a tour of the hotel, including meeting the chef personally. Our room was beautifully decorated and being from England, it felt like a home from home for us. The plunge pool/ sauna was fantastic and we were grateful we could book this area to have it to ourselves. We had the 6 course tasting menu for dinner both nights which was about £40 per person - unbelievable value for the food that was served. Michelin star level food at dinner and breakfast, everything tasted divine.

Honestly, this was the best accomodation I've been in Srí Lanka. Not because of luxury things or other stuff, but because of the family, the owners. It's near to the jungle, absolutely calmy in the night, little bit cooler so good for sleeping. Owners welcomed me with a pot of the. I could even use their kitchen for preparing my breakfast. Roshan helped me with everything. Room was very clean, nice bed. Thank you Roshan for your service! I definitely recommend this and definitely come back when I'll come back to Nuwara Eliya.

Staying at Bluechip Summer Bungalow was absolutely magical. The location, right in the middle of a tea plantation, and the beautiful British-style house surrounded by gardens make you feel part of Nuwara Eliya’s history. Our room was huge, with the most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely attentive and professional and the food was simply outstanding.They even arranged a walk for us to Lovers Leap waterfall, which is easily accessible from the hotel and was a perfect experience. A truly authentic stay in “Little England”. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a genuine atmosphere.

The space was simple, brand new, cozy, and beautifully designed, it felt very cozy from the moment we arrived. The food from the in-house restaurant was incredible, full of flavour and made with so much care. What truly stood out was how warmly we were welcomed. Our immediate family had planned this trip after such a long time apart, and Croft Cottage gave us the perfect setting to reconnect. It wasn’t just a holiday, it was a heartfelt experience shared with loved ones. There’s truly no better way to spend quality time together. Highly recommended!

If you want to see a tea factory at work this is not the...

If you want to see a tea factory at work this is not the place to go. They only process the tea at night Because they do not want a lot of fermentation. Rather pick a tea company close to Kandy, in the Midlands or the Lowlands. There you can see how the tea is processed when you visit during the daytime.

The hosts Nanda & Christophe were incredibly welcoming & gave excellent advice. Great location for visiting Pedro Tea Factory & Lovers Leap Waterfall. Some great walks in the area & into Nuwara Eliya. Delicious food.

The couple who welcomed us were warm and truly hospitable! They invited us into their own home, where they themselves live, so we heard about their family, enjoyed their home cooked meal and just loved being in a true home from home. They live opposite the Pedro Tea Factory. Both dinner ( a huge curry meal, cooked from scratch!) and breakfast (another huge table filled with goodies from toast, rice and coconut dressing, pancakes, and fruits) were formidable!

It is a super quiet and lovely place, a walking distance to lovers leap waterfall and pedro tea factory, the owner was super helpful and helped us with many things such as tuk tuk, traveling plans, laundry.. great location, calming place, Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous too. ,

Peacful, realaxing and very calming place. The location is in front of a tea garden, 500m from pedro tea factory and 1km from loversleap waterfall.The host kushan and his mom was really friendly and helpful. Arranged everything we needed , tuktuk, traveling plans, medicine.. If you want hiking they arranged it.. will definitely recommend if you are looking for a stay in Nuwaraeliya
