Location was perfect. Ski rental equipment outlet Rhythm was just outside the hotel. You could also return the equipment on site in the ski locker section. Complimentary shuttle services to Evergreen Ski School also made it so convenient. Rooms were comfortable, clean, functional and so well thought out. Absolutely love the cosy vibe of the property. Onsen in the property provided a perfect ending to any ski day!

The staff at House of Finn Juhl were amazing! I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

Location was excellent however if your not driving you may not have many options for restaurants nearby. Ski just at fews steps from the hotel door. Breakfast is like a Michelin restaurant, really great food.

While Japan is great with digital check ins, it was so nice having a genuine connection with the staf, especially Anis. There is so much charm and hospitality in this place. While it may not be modern accommodation, it makes up for it in customer service and comfort. Hotel manager Anis went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, they picked us up at the bus station, organised our Goryu ski passes, shuttled us to and from the rental place for free and genuinely wanted to make things easy for us. Accommodation was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - you get a small set breakfast (mostly American style) as well as a buffet to top up (more Asian cuisine), more than enough to keep you fuelled for the morning. Bonus: They give you 20% off rental at Cherry rentals (literally across the road from Escal Plaza) as well as a free shuttle from the resort (it’s only a short 400m if you miss the last shuttle). Plus a small discount for ski passes. Thank you so much Anis and crew for our stay!!

The friendliness vibes of Mr. Shuto who received us and explaining the information regarding the shuttle bus and assists in our request to change to lower level room due to my mum who is 77 years old have difficulties to climb the stairs until level 5 as the elevator was not working upon the earthquake early 2024. The location next to the Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort makes it easier to ski in and ski out. We enjoyed our ski time during the day and the night time. The room with the kitchenette helps us to have our own home cook.
