My wife and I stayed at the Otivm hotel and it was fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring Rome, with easy access to major attractions. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast offered a great selection of delicious options each morning. Two standout features were the rooftop bar, which has amazing views, and the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone, from the front desk to the bar staff, was welcoming and helpful. The reception team went above and beyond to organize transport and provide excellent sightseeing tips. We would definitely choose the Otivm again for our next visit to Rome.

What an exceptional hotel! Located in the heart of Rome, 10 minutes walk to the Pantheon, 10 minutes to the Roman Forum, the location is perfect for visiting Rome on foot. We arrived to find our room had been decorated with romantic lights, balloons and presents, for our wedding anniversary. The lobby downstairs is cosy and the staff are warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble! Giulia ensured we had everything we needed, from making us restaurant reservations to ensuring we were taken care of. You can find quality tea, biscotti, pastries, fruit and sweets to help yourself to 24/7. Each evening there was complimentary room service with chocolates, pillow scent and mineral water. There was a small issue with our original room but the team went above and beyond to move us into the best room of the hotel! We enjoyed a magical sunset over Rome from our private balcony with complimentary Prosecco. I couldn’t have asked for more. Rome will forevermore hold a special place in our hearts.

Roman Forum

More palace than museum, El Prado is a true cultural treasure trove. Its hallowed halls hold one of the world’s finest collections of European art, from the fantastical figures of Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights to the dark, twisted beauty of Goya’s legendary Black Paintings. It needn’t cost the Earth either – in the evenings entrance is usually free.

Be prepared for a long walk. It is worth it. Make sure you have water with you, as there is very little shade, and in summer it gets very hot. The day we went, it was 40 degrees celsius. From here you can easily walk to the Coliseum, but make sure that you have prebooked tickets to both

Gone are the days of strolling through the Forum and sitting as the ancients did among the temples and spirits, remains of daily pre-modern life. But if you can take the time to get into the Forum in a quiet, personal way, it is an experience worth having. As a tourism tour, not so much. Try to enjoy ancient Rome quietly and peacefully, on your own with time and space to receive from it.

The location is superb! 5-10 minutes walk to Vatican City and a bus stop just outside taking you to Piazza Venezia (close to Roman Forum and Colosseum) - we actually walked to Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi one day. Great flexibility with breakfast as it was self-service and fabulous service from the host. Clean and nice room. Rome S. Pietro trainstation within 7 minutes' walk that takes you to and from the airport. The hotel can absolutely be recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment and Alessandro was a fantastic host. He met us at the apartment to give us a walk through, which we appreciated. Each bedroom had an ensuite, which is invaluable when traveling. Located on the 5th floor, there is a modern lift if your legs are tired and the apartments are ideally located in the mid-section between the Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Nice restaurants nearby or a short walk away. We highly recommend it.

You can even see parts of the colosseum. Absolutely magic. The hotel has a gorgeous rooftop terrace bar where you can watch the sunset. Our room was absolute perfection, and so comfortable. We had a wonderful stay in Rome in this apartment. The communication with the host was excellent, he gave us great tips on what to visit and even provided us with a city map. The apartment itself is very charming with a small garden, and it’s perfectly located as a base for sightseeing. Many main attractions like the Roman Forum are just a short walk away, and Trastevere with its fantastic pubs and restaurants is also very close. We’re already planning another trip to Rome, and if possible, we would love to stay here again.

It’s a small ground floor apartment but it’s feel big. It has everything you need, plenty of storage, big comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, reasonable size fridge and fresh clean towels. The location is on a quiet road, but in a really good location. Turn one corner, and you can see the colosseum and Roman forum. The hosts are really friendly and responded very quickly to my messages. Also, surrounded by good bars, restaurants and shops. Will definitely look for this place on my next visit.

Buy the ticket for Colloseum at the enterence to Forum Romanum and Palatin, you will avoid giant line (3 attractions cost altogether 12 euro)! FAst track ticket for the VAtican Museum is also good idea (we did it), you can buy at the enterence to the St. Peter's Basilic. It is quite expensive, but it helps you to avoid huge line and to see both attractions during one day.
