If you want to see the paintings (Giotto, P Lorenzetti,...
If you want to see the paintings (Giotto, P Lorenzetti, Cimabue, S Martini) in the Lower Basilica it is worth checking for service times as the church is closed for tourism. In winter 2024-25 the only substantial free time is between 1 pm and 4 pm and also 8-10:30 weekday. There are far less services in the Upper Church (Giotto cycle).Guest review bySimonGUnited Kingdom

The room size was good with plenty of space for clothes. The selections for breakfast were not great but more than adequate. Breakfast is not scheduled to start until 8:30 AM (but is open as of 8:00 AM), which is a little bit of a problem if you want to get an early start on the day.
