The hotel is well designed and very handy. The rooms are comfortable and very cosy, not mentioning the tidiness and the availability of bathroom accessories. The amicability of the stuff is amazing.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Walkable distance to center and attractions (20 - 30 minutes). If you're not up for a walk, there's a metro and bus station right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is good and there is plenty to choose from. The rooms are clean and the cleaning ladies come daily to refresh the room and clean them.

The spacious rooms, with double bunk-beds so it could suite a family of four easily. also the room space and the bathroom were excellent. Location is really great (not the view though), it is ~10 min walk to Gran Via street, and the main squares of Madrid. the street was full of people and passerby even late at night which indicated good neighborhood safety.

Room mate chain is always a good choice, this is particularly true about Alba. nicely decorated and superb location makes it a sure thing. rooms are a bit smaller than usually offered in same level hotels, but internal space was not an issue, since I was alone and few belongings. couples and families needs to check beforehand or could get encumbered in a small room. Staff is very amicable and breakfast is simple but honest. This is a recommended stay and even considering the lack of a more spacious room its still a very good cost/benefit relation.
