Xavier, the owner, is phenomenal. Peter and I had great discussions with him. Lots of fun and laughter. He is an extremely interesting person. Superb food. Great surroundings. The "golden wildebeests" and the "kissing giraffe" on the property are very special. Noteworthy are the 1928 Bugatti and the Triumph motorcycle in the living room. There are vintage cars all over the property. I have never seen a more interesting place like the Hippomoon Lodge. As a world traveller I must admit that this is one of the most spectacular, interesting and fun place I have ever stayed at. Highly recommendable!!!!!! Thanks Xavier!

Establecido en Guernsey Nature Reserve, Lion Tree Top Lodge ofrece hospedaje con alberca al aire libre durante todo el año, WiFi gratis, un jardín y un salón compartido. A special experience was staying at the Lion Tree Top Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park. At night you hear the lions roar, the hyenas call and the monkeys jump on the roof and terrace of your lodge. In the morning while you are under the outdoor shower you see the impalas and springboks pass by. During the day with a nice glass of wine by the pool you see the zebras drinking from the pond nearby. And close to the resort you can see the giraffes walk. A very special experience to see all those animals pass by your lodge. In the evening we had a very nice meal around the cozy campfire in the boma together with the super sweet hosts Brian and Lynn. The lodges are beautiful and equipped with all the necessities, separated from each other by wooden paths that provide the necessary privacy. So the resort seemed all to yourself. No mass tourism here like with the accommodations in the Kruger Park. In short, a real African bush experience in this small-scale, cozy resort, which was a highlight of our road trip through South Africa, thanks in part to Brian and Lynn.

La recepción incluso fue más allá solucionando la recepción de mis maletas perdidas por la compañía aerea La habitación es enorme y cómoda. El jacuzzi con agua tibia permanente en el balcón es un plus que solo puedes encontrar en este lugar. Amé estar ahí por las noches mirando las estrellas en esta recóndita reserva africana

Pondoro is set on the banks of the Olifants River inside the 50 000 ha Balule Private Game Reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park (Game drive traverse 30 000 acres). We loved everything about our stay at Pondoro. The room was amazing, the food was delicious, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the setting is truly phenomenal, and we saw the big 5 thanks to our amazing guide and tracker.

We had an absolute dream of a weekend getaway at this stunning villa! The bush setting was breathtaking, and the villa itself was perfectly appointed with all the amenities we needed. The weekend with my sisters was filled with laughter, relaxation, and quality time together, and this villa was the perfect haven(Jacuzzi, Boma etc ). The hosts were super responsive and accommodating, and the location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend for a girls' getaway or family retreat 😊❤️
