The room was grand and elegant and the beds were very comfortable, we sleep very good. We highly recommend this hotel for holiday.

Pondoro is set on the banks of the Olifants River inside the 50 000 ha Balule Private Game Reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park (Game drive traverse 30 000 acres). The staff, the food, location, accommodation and game drives were all exceptionally. We highly recommend the Pondoro Game Lodge to every future guest! Stayed here for our last three nights of our honeymoon to South Africa. We taught all the other hotels that we stayed in during our honeymoon were off a very high standard, but the Highgrove easily topped them all. Everything about the hotel was exceptional, the meals were some of the best food I have ever had. Staff were very friendly and could do no more for you. The property itself is set in what could only be described as a bit of heaven on earth.
