The separate undercover and glassed-in verandah with BBQ and comfy lounge puts this place on an entire next level, and that is without mentioning the jacuzzi that was already hot and ready and super clean upon arrival. Even the air-conditioner and dishwasher was a touch of convenience which shows the thoughtfulness of the host. Very convenient in the middle of our long road-trip was the washer and separate dryer which allowed us to do multiple loads in one day. Clever stairs which takes up minimal space to to the generous sleeping area on the landing above, a large TV which can be enjoyed from the big and comfortable bed on the bottom level, and all you will ever need in a kitchen while enjoying the view of the water through the kitchen window. Small added luxury items like designer coffee mugs and imported wine glasses made us feel extra welcome and added to the high level of comfort the host is clearly aiming for.

Per and Maria organised the cabin in the sweetest way. They also took great care of us, they are truly welcoming. For instance they alerted us of ice on the road while we were on our way. The place also feels very safe given that it’s close to their house. We didn’t try the sauna unfortunately.

The house is very beautiful and has the most amazing jacuzzi and sauna! All the amenities were outstanding. The location is perfect for hiking and there is a beautiful lake nearby which you can swim in in summer. Daniela, the host was amazing and was very quick to respond to questions. Overall really enjoyed our time here!
