The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. We were able to check in early which enabled us to drop our suitcases off before returning our motorhome, which was great. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The hotel restaurant was delicious and affordable. The staff were very helpful, even in the middle of the night. To top it all off, we had to get to the airport at 4 a.m. and the hotel has a complimentary 24/7 airport shuttle available. Fantastic place to stay!

After 2 weeks driving around South Island and a beautiful drive through Arthur's Pass, this was the perfect place to stay before flying out to Australia. The airport was only an hour's drive away. We were so pleasantly surprised to have such spacious accommodation. One bedroom, a nice living and dining area and a roomy kitchen with all the utensils you could want! It would be a lovely place to stay in for a week or more. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We highly recommend it. We were in Unit 1, the Standard Motel Unit, which is part of a converted home.

Talking with John and Ping feels like talking with close friends or family. A clean, comfortable, and charming place to stay.

Felt like an out of town nature retreat without having to do the long drive. The convenience of a one-night stay, especially when having limited childcare options, was greatly appreciated. The ability to order Uber Eats added to the overall experience of R&R. The spa offered a serene retreat in the evening, while watching Netflix under the stars, and a stunning start to the day soaking and listening to the birdsong. So happy to have come across this gem and will definitely be booking again.
