It was more fancy than I thought it would be, truly amazing. The Japanese style room and the public bathing area were both a fantastic experience. Close to the beach, with quite a few restaurants and stores around, direct bus to the station. There's a fridge, a kettle, some welcome teas and snacks, and a yukata for after the bath! They have three sizes. Highly recommend.

The room was large with both indoor and an outdoor seaview sitting areas in addition to the outdoor onsen. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, helping us pick out our yukata (lovely) and calling a taxi for our departure. In the lobby, you get a free welcome drink, and coffee and tea are always available as you enjoy the view of the coast. We also enjoyed walking along the coast on the path right outside the hotel. It was the perfect getaway!

Relatively cheap for a family of four. We did not have a dog, but I saw other families check in with pets. The host was kind and had a small bag of fireworks for sale, which was fun for our children. The seaside road was beautiful.
