SAUNA VILLA 然 está ubicado en Nagano, a 15 minutos a pie de Templo Zenkoji y a 2,4 km de Estación Nagano. Stayed in this apartment for a few days, and it was solid. Clean, spacious, modern and exactly what I needed. Location was great. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was easy to deal with. No issues during my stay, everything worked as it should. Definitely would stay again.

This is like a hidden gem in a remote rural area. It feels like it's from another world. I fell in love with this place once we arrived. The owner and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food (and the sake) they serve is locally sourced, which I highly recommend. The place provides an amazing atmosphere and facilities for all visitors to sit together and chat, which is really nice.

The staff were so nice. The room and onsen were beautiful. The meals were delicious and they accommodated my friend’s allergy request with care.

Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.
