The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

Convenient location, only short walk from Zeze train station that takes you 10 minutes into heart of Kyoto perfect for day trips. It was also located across the road from the lake and was very nice relaxing neighborhood rather then busy centre of Kyoto. 7/11 down the street as well. Rooms were very clean and organized and had very cool themes. Pool table, dart board, and smoking area also available. Affordable price and great value for money. Will be returning when back in Kyoto area.
