It was a last minute decision to go there, decision I do not regret. The restaurant was unfortunately closed on a Wednesday, but there was a nearby place that served excellent homemade food (Café Cape).

The room we had was huge and looked out over the river. The bathroom was spacious too. The setting was in a calm area so very peaceful. Don't be put off staying here by the 'love' element! We're a couple in our 60s and we felt very welcome and relaxed here. There's nothing sordid or kinky about the hotel: it's simply one for adults only, with a few items supplied in the room that you may wish or not to avail of. It was definitely the nicest hotel we stayed at during our ten-day holiday.
