A couple restaurants in the same complex as well as a great crepe shop, a huge farmers market, and space to hang out outside. Only about 20 minutes to Morioka, but the train is every 30 min or so.

Shuttle bus to Appi Kogen ski resort was great (only around 800 metres). Some choose to walk to warm up. After midday, there were free shuttle buses returning from the resort every 30 minutes that stopped at House Appi diagonally across the road.
