Mystery Hotel Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a historically themed luxury hotel located in the 6th district in downtown Budapest, in an eclectic palace built in the 19th century. This 5-star hotel offers free WiFi and in-house spa and wellness area. Hungarian State Opera is 900 m away and St. Stephen's Basilica is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. + Our room was spacious, airy and really well fitted. Having a toilet with no sink in it is a tad weird but nothing particularly uncomfortable. Noise levels are absolutely kept to a minimum, and the air conditioning is reliable. + The staff are absolutely great and definitely do their best to ensure guests have a great stay. We were even considering adding an extra night to our stay which would have been problematic since the place was almost booked out -- but the ladies at the reception still found a way to assist us. + The spa and the whole "hidden garden" concept is simply gorgeous and definitely adds to the overall charm of the places -- and there's certainly plenty of that! + Parking is at a rate of 25 EUR per day and is done off location via a valet - which is an easy enough approach to make sure guests don't have to worry about tight spaces, etc. Alternatively, street parking is also fairly easy and convenient.

Additionally, the hotel's location made it easy to access the city center and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest!

All rooms offer elegant Cavalli furniture, air conditioning, a minibar, a flat-screen cable TV, a laptop safe, and a stylish bathroom. Some have views of the street and some have views of the courtyard. The location is brilliant - the hotel is located within minutes' walk from the Parliament, Sechenyi bridge, St Istvan basilica and Vaci street. Breakfast is good, rooms are warm and comfortable. There is no noise from street as windows look inside the building (though that might be a problem for people with claustrophobia).
