Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Our host, Jorlanda, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She was always quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was very good, but Jorlanda truly made the whole experience special. She’s a star!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Boutique Hotel Ani. Starting with a nice welcoming drink and ending with a very nice spa experience (which we strongly recommend) everything was just perfect. This is an exceptional hotel. Truly high end. Beach front, large room with balcony large enough for 2 to sit at table comfortably. Stocked mini bar, coffee pot in room. 25 foot long breakfast buffet with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff friendly and very helpful. Small parking lot on property should book in advance. We did not but they accommodated. Overall very nice
