The newer area of the hotel was very nicely decorated and clean, and the old part of the estate still had a very cosy feeling, especially the bar in the "library" where we could sit and have a few drinks after dinner.

Some cottages also include a wood burning stove. Some properties boast a private hot tub and a sauna. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.

The property features garden views and is 34 km from Tantallon Castle and 42 km from Etal Castle. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We booked this as a mini moon after we got married as we don't go on our honeymoon for a few weeks but wanted some time to ourselves to wind down after the chaos of a wedding. The location was absolutely perfect, such a gorgeous, scenic place that feels so secluded, but you're still super close to the town. The cabins are super cute and cosy, really clean, and have everything you possibly need. We sat out and ate all our meals on the little porch area and made use of the lovely hot tub during our stay. Just behind the cabin were 4 beautiful Highland cows who we were allowed to feed bread to (kindly supplied in mass by Sam) as well as all the other lovely animals on site (pigs, goats, rheas, alpacas and more). We had lots of treats waiting for us on arrival, too! We really couldn't fault our stay and we didn't want to come home just yet. Sam was super helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or help where needed. You can tell this is a family run business and that a lot of love and care goes into all the little details of your stay. We will absolutely be back for another visit and to feed Angus, Katrina, Peggy, Charlie, and Charlotte 💕

The holiday home consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and a hair dryer. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Well equiped and clean. Parking was good also.

We were extremely pleased and so glad we booked this property!

A lovely peaceful cabin , the owners have thought of every detail, very cosy , lovely welcome to fresh baked bread , milk , eggs , jam , biscuits.Bed was comfy , hot tub was a bonus , lovely and relaxing with bath robes included. would highly recommend , we will come back .
