El Château de Montabert, situado en un edificio reformado que data de 1862, es un alojamiento elegante rodeado por un parque de 14 hectáreas. we were horribly delayed due to traffic. but we called ahead and updated our hosts and they were very kind and understanding. The chateau is easily found just off the A26 nr Troyes so perfect for a stopover and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The owners had only recently changed but everything was done well and we set off again well rested.

Great beds. The place is immaculately clean. I also recommend having breakfast and dinner at Ome Sweet Home. You won’t be disappointed. They have also good wines and nice champagne. What else does one need?

We found the hotel easily and the hotel staff helped us park our car (the streets are very narrow). The hotel is a classic building, the likes of which I have rarely seen. It is very beautiful and the staff are very helpful. We liked it very much. It is located right in the city center, on a quiet street. There are many restaurants in the area and lots to visit. I would definitely recommend it.
