Este complejo está situado a orillas del lago Kilpisjärvi, muy cerca de la autopista E8 y a 7 km de la frontera con Suecia y Noruega. Location was perfect. Holy mountain Saana on the one side, beautiful Kilpisjärvi lake on the other side, several reindeer strolling around. The accommodation had all the necessary things for a pleasant stay. Great location for daily hikes around. Even the Norwegian fjords are a mere half-hour car ride away. Kilpisjärvi is my favourite area in Finland so far - highly recommended for all hiking and nature enthusiasts.

The area was quiet and peaceful. It’s very convenient because we can access to some supermarkets and restaurants within 10 minutes on foot. Also, we can easily go to Lake Inari and enjoy Aurora hunting anytime.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is located right on the banks of Juutua River, in the immediate vicinity of Inari village's services. The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua.... The hotel is by a beautiful river, close to the Siida Museum, and near trails. It has comfortable common areas with close views of the river. The in room sauna was a delight. And the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stores and cafes were just a short walk away.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. Everything was so nice. The hotel is right in front of a lake and every room as lake view. In our case we had snow and the lake was frozen, but the area and the hotel offers plenty of activities for that weather. We were travelling with our little girl so we couldn't book a Aurora Borealis "hunt" but we were lucky enough to see the Aurora from our room at 10pm! It was so magical. I recommend this hotel and this trip to anyone that wants to disconnect and have amazing days in the nature.
